How this one is priced

What actually drives the cost of a furniture delivery

Furniture deliveries are priced per item on volume and handling time, plus the distance and the access at the delivery end. One sofa to a ground floor is cheap; a wardrobe to a fourth-floor walk-up is not, and we tell you which you have before you book.

Assembly time is included in the item price where the item needs it. There is no separate assembly fee to be surprised by on the day.

About furniture deliverys

Can you collect from IKEA or a warehouse?
Yes. Give us the order reference and collection window and we will handle it. We do this several times a day.
What if it will not fit up the stairs?
We dismantle first and measure before we lift. If a piece genuinely cannot be got in, we will tell you on site and discuss options — hoisting, or returning it — rather than forcing it.
Do you take the packaging away?
Yes, included. Cardboard, polystyrene and pallet wrap all leave with us.
