What actually drives the cost of a waste & junk clearance

Waste clearance is priced by the fraction of a van you fill, plus the labour to load it and the tip fees, which are passed through at cost and shown separately.

Heavy waste — soil, rubble, plasterboard — is charged by weight rather than volume because that is how the transfer station charges us.

Booking a clearance alongside a removal is much cheaper than booking two separate jobs. The quote tool lets you add it as an extra.

Are you a licensed waste carrier?
Yes, registered with the Environment Agency. You receive a waste transfer note for every load — keep it, because fly-tipped waste traced back to you is your liability.
Do I have to bring it outside?
No. Our crew clears from wherever it is — loft, garage, garden, third-floor flat. That is included in the load price.
What can you not take?
Asbestos, clinical waste, tyres in quantity, and hazardous chemicals. Tell us if you suspect any and we will point you to the right specialist.
