What actually drives the cost of a vehicle transport

Vehicle transport is priced per mile with a minimum charge, plus a loading fee for non-runners that need winching. Covered transport costs more than open and is quoted separately.

Long-distance moves fall into lower per-mile bands, so a London to Glasgow run is not simply five times a London to Birmingham one.
