What actually drives the cost of a man & van (hourly)

Hourly work is priced from the moment we arrive at your first address to the moment we finish at the last. Travel from our yard is not on the clock.

The hourly rate depends on the crew size and the time of day. Evenings, weekends and bank holidays carry an uplift that is shown as its own line on your quote.

If the job is well defined, a fixed-price removal is usually cheaper than paying by the hour. The quote tool shows both so you can pick.

When does the clock start?
When we arrive at your first address. You do not pay for our drive from the yard, and you do not pay for our drive home.
Is there a minimum?
Two hours. After that we bill in fifteen-minute increments, so a two-hour-forty job costs two hours forty-five, not three.
Will the driver help carry?
Yes. Every crew member carries. That is the whole point of booking a man and van rather than hiring a van.
